Clogged Dryer Vent
Today we serviced this dryer vent for a customer in Des Moines. She could not figure out why the clothes took 2 to 3 cycles to get dry. She decided to purchase a new dryer spending about a $850.00 on a new unit. Things didn’t get any better with the new unit in fact she had to get a repairman in because she burned out the heating element on the new dryer. She finally called us and this is what we found! We quickly cleaned the vent and checked all the hoses and clamps and tested the system. It worked great! Sadly we see this all the time the vent was the problem not the dryer. She was happy to get it repaired but sad she had spent all that money on a new dryer when the other one was in excellent shape.
